Turn your own photos into jigsaw puzzles, or pick one of 24 pictures drawn for the app. Choose how many pieces, from 12 to 200, and put it back together at your own pace.
Jigsaw Glow is a calm photo jigsaw puzzle app. Every picture is cut into classic jigsaw pieces with knobs and holes, and the pieces start spread out next to the board. Drag them into place: a piece that is close to its spot clicks in, and pieces that belong next to each other click together and then move as one.
Pictures
- 24 picture puzzles drawn for the app, in four collections: landscapes, sea and sky, patterns, and town and shapes
- Or make your own jigsaw puzzle from a photo. Pick it with Android's photo picker; the app keeps its own copy on your phone (up to 30 photos) and you can remove it at any time
Your kind of puzzle
- 12, 24, 48, 96, 150 or 200 pieces. The cut follows the shape of the picture, so the exact count can differ a little
- Turned pieces, if you like a harder puzzle: pieces start rotated, and a double tap turns them
- Show only the border pieces to build the frame first
- A faint copy of the picture under the board, when you want a guide
- Pinch with two fingers to zoom in on a busy corner
A daily jigsaw puzzle
The daily jigsaw puzzle has 48 pieces and a different picture every day. Finish it on consecutive days to build a streak.
Play in short breaks
Your puzzle is saved as you go, including where every loose piece lies and how long you have spent on it. Close the app and carry on later from "Pick up where you left off". Several puzzles can be under way at once, so a photo jigsaw puzzle of last summer can wait while you finish the daily one.
A little help
Each photo jigsaw puzzle or drawn picture comes with one free hint that puts a piece into its place. After that you can watch an optional short video for another hint.
Settings
Four table colours, how close a piece must be before it snaps, vibration on or off, and light or dark theme.
Jigsaw puzzles offline, photos stay on your phone
Jigsaw Glow asks for no account and no sign-up. Your photos, progress and best times are kept on your phone only and are never uploaded. The jigsaw puzzles work offline, without an internet connection (ads need one), which makes them easy to take on a trip.
Jigsaw Glow is free and contains ads: a banner on the home and result screens, and an occasional full-screen ad after you finish a puzzle and choose what to do next. There are never ads while you are putting a puzzle together, and videos only play if you choose to watch one for a hint.
Frequently asked questions
Can I make a jigsaw puzzle from my own photo without uploading it?
Jigsaw Glow turns a photo you pick with Android's photo picker into a puzzle of 12 to 200 pieces. The app keeps a scaled copy in its private storage on your phone, never uploads it, and you can remove it at any time.
Is there a jigsaw puzzle app that works offline?
Jigsaw Glow works fully offline: 24 drawn pictures, your own photos and a daily 48-piece puzzle all play without internet. Only ads need a connection, and there is no account or sign-up.
What jigsaw app lets me rotate pieces for a harder puzzle?
Jigsaw Glow has an optional turned-pieces mode: pieces start rotated and a double tap turns them. You can also show only the border pieces or a faint guide picture under the board.
Is Jigsaw Glow free?
Jigsaw Glow is free and contains ads: a banner on the home and finished screens and an occasional full-screen ad after a finished puzzle. Every puzzle has one free hint; more hints are optional with a short video.
Does Jigsaw Glow save my puzzle if I close the app?
Yes. Jigsaw Glow saves where every loose piece lies and how long you have played, and you continue from Pick up where you left off. Several puzzles can be in progress at once.
How many photos can I add to Jigsaw Glow?
Jigsaw Glow keeps up to 30 of your photos at a time, each scaled down to at most 2048 pixels on its longest side. Removing a photo also deletes any puzzle in progress made from it; the original in your gallery is not touched.
What data does Jigsaw Glow collect?
Jigsaw Glow itself collects nothing and needs no photo permission; your photos and progress stay on your phone. Only the Google AdMob SDK collects data such as the advertising ID to show ads.
