Solitaire Trio: Card Games

Klondike, Spider and FreeCell solitaire in one app, with cards drawn clearly enough to play on a small phone.

Klondike, Spider and FreeCell are three classic patience card games, each with checked winnable deals, a daily deal and unlimited undo.

Klondike

• Seven columns, a stock and four foundations: build each suit from ace to king
• Klondike solitaire with draw 1 or draw 3 from the stock, and go through the stock as often as you like
• Cards can come back down from the foundations when you need them

Spider

• Ten columns and two packs: build eight runs from king down to ace in one suit
• Spider solitaire with 1, 2 or 4 suits; fewer suits are easier
• Finished runs leave the table by themselves

Freecell

• Every card face up from the start, four free cells to work with
• Move several cards at once when the free cells and empty columns allow it
• Cards that no other card could still need go to the foundations by themselves

Winnable deals

Before a deal starts, the app can check it with a solver that plays it through knowing every card. A deal that passed the check shows a check mark beside its number; if no check succeeds within a few seconds (it happens most often with four-suit Spider) you get an unchecked deal. Prefer any shuffle? Choose "Random deal" instead. Every deal has a number, and the same number always gives the same cards.

A daily deal for each game

One Klondike (draw 1), one Spider (2 suits) and one FreeCell deal each day. Win them on days in a row to build a streak for each game.

Play your way

• Tap a card to send it to the best place it can go, or drag a card or a whole run where you want it
• Double tap sends a card home
• Prefer to choose? Switch off "Tap to move": a tap picks a card up and a second tap puts it down. This also works with a screen reader, which reads every face-up card ("7 of hearts")
• Unlimited undo, free
• Three free hints in every deal; a hint lights up a useful move
• When no move that helps is left, the app tells you and offers Undo or a new deal
• Once every card is face up, the game finishes by itself

• Columns squeeze to fit, so long Spider columns still fit a small phone
• Large-card option with bigger corner letters
• Left-handed layout with the stock on the left
• Works upright and sideways; sideways the piles move beside the columns so the cards get bigger
• Light and dark themes, optional vibration

Your progress

• A clock for every deal that pauses when you leave the app
• Unfinished deals are saved as you play, so you can close the app and carry on later
• Statistics kept separately for Klondike, Spider and FreeCell: deals played and won, win rate, best time and fewest moves, and your daily streaks

Solitaire offline, everything stays on your phone

There is no account to make and nothing to sign up for. These solitaire card games work offline, without an internet connection (ads need one), and your statistics are kept on your phone only. No money, no betting and no casino-style scoring: just moves and time.

Solitaire Trio is free and contains ads: a banner on the menu, the statistics and the "You won!" screen, and an occasional full-screen ad between deals when you move on. There are never ads on a deal you are playing, and videos only play if you choose to watch one for more hints.
