Can't agree on where to eat, who goes first or how to split the class into groups? Spin a decision wheel with your own options and let a fair random pick decide.
Choosy Wheel is a decision maker with six small tools in one place. Each one makes its choice with your phone's secure random number generator, so every option gets exactly the chance you gave it.
Spinner wheel
- Make wheels with your own options: from 2 up to 40 on one wheel
- Three example wheels to start from: Yes or no, What's for dinner? and Who does the dishes?
- Save as many wheels as you like, then rename, duplicate or delete them
- Paste a whole list at once (one per line, or separated by commas), so a class list becomes a random name picker in seconds
- Give an option a bigger weight to give it a bigger slice and a bigger chance
- Pick a colour for any slice, or let the app colour them
- Tap the wheel, flick it, or press Spin. The result is picked first and the wheel then slows down onto it
- "Remove winners" takes each result off the wheel for the next spin, until one is left. Reset puts everyone back
- See every result of this session in the history
Dice
- A dice roller for 1 to 6 dice: d4, d6, d8, d10, d12 or d20
- See each face and the total
- Tap a die to hold it while the others roll again
Coin flip
- Heads or tails, with a count of each for this session
- Best of 3, 5 or 7, with the winner announced
Random number
- Any whole numbers between two limits, negative ones too
- Make up to 1,000 at once, with or without repeats, sorted if you like
- Clear messages when a request is not possible (for example ten different numbers from 1 to 5)
- Copy the numbers
Team picker
- Paste or type a list of names
- Choose the number of teams or the number of people per team
- Teams come out as even as possible (sizes differ by one at most)
- Reshuffle, or copy the teams to share them in your own chat app
Finger chooser
- Everyone puts a finger on the screen (up to 10)
- Hold still for three seconds and one finger is chosen
- Or choose several fingers, or split everyone into teams
Made for everyday use
- Light and dark themes
- Turn vibration off, or choose shorter animations in Settings
- Works with large text sizes, and on phones held sideways and tablets
Your lists stay on your phone
Choosy Wheel has no account and no sign-up. Every decision wheel, dice roll and team list works without an internet connection (ads need one). Your wheels, names and settings are kept on your phone only.
Choosy Wheel is free and contains ads: a banner on the tool list and on the list of wheels, and now and then a full-screen ad when you open the next tool after using one. No ad appears while a wheel spins, dice roll or fingers are on the screen, and never when you go back.
