Sudoku and Nonogram puzzles in one app, freshly made on your phone every time you play.
Grid Logic has Sudoku in four difficulties and Nonogram picture puzzles in three sizes. Every puzzle is generated on the device the moment you ask for it, so you will not run out, and every one has exactly one solution.
Sudoku
- Fill the 9 x 9 grid so that every row, column and 3 x 3 box holds 1 to 9 once
- Easy, Medium, Hard and Expert. Easy to Hard are checked by a solver that thinks like a person: Easy needs only single steps, Medium needs pairs or pointing, Hard needs triples or wing patterns, and none of them needs a guess. Expert Sudoku has the fewest clues and may ask for deeper reasoning
- Pencil notes, undo and redo, erase, and highlighting of the selected row, column, box and number
- Each number key shows how many of that number are still to place
Nonogram
- The numbers beside each row and above each column are the runs of filled squares in that line. Work them out and a picture appears
- 5 x 5 for a quick warm-up, 10 x 10 for the classic size, 15 x 15 for a longer think
- Tap to fill, switch to Cross to mark squares you know are empty, or drag to mark a whole stretch at once
- Pinch to zoom on big grids; the clues stay beside the grid while you move around
- Every nonogram puzzle can be solved one line at a time, without guessing
Daily sudoku and nonogram
A daily Sudoku (Medium) and a daily 10 x 10 Nonogram, the same for every player on that date. Solve them on consecutive days to build a streak for each.
Help when you are stuck
- Hint reveals one correct square and, when it can, tells you why ("this is the only place for 7 in its row")
- The first hint in every puzzle is free. More hints are offered for a short optional video
- Check marks wrong squares in red, or switch on "Show mistakes" to see them as you go
Your progress
- A clock for every puzzle that pauses when you leave the app
- Puzzles are saved as you play, so you can close the app and carry on later
- Statistics: puzzles solved, best and average times for every difficulty and size, and your daily streaks
Comfortable to play
- Large grid and keys, also on small phones; grid and keys sit side by side when the phone is turned
- Light and dark themes, optional vibration, and settings for highlighting and crossing out finished lines
Sudoku offline, nothing leaves your phone
No account and no sign-up. These logic puzzles work offline, without an internet connection (ads need one), so Sudoku and Nonogram are there on a plane or in the underground. Your statistics are kept on your phone only.
Grid Logic is free and contains ads: a banner on the menu, the statistics and the "Puzzle solved" screen, and an occasional full-screen ad after a solved puzzle when you move on. There are never ads on a puzzle you are playing, and videos only play if you choose to watch one for an extra hint.
