Tempo & Tune: Privacy Policy

Tempo & Tune ("the app") is published by GlowVibe ("we", "us"). This policy explains what information the app uses and why. Questions: support@glowvibe.in.

What we collect

We do not run a server for this app and we do not collect your personal information. There is no account or sign-up. The metronome and the tuner work on your device and send nothing to us.

Permissions

• Microphone: used only by the tuner, and only while the tuner screen is open. The app asks for this permission when you tap Start on the tuner, never when it launches. The sound is turned into a pitch on your device, moment by moment, and then discarded: no audio is recorded, stored or sent anywhere. Listening stops when you tap Stop, leave the tuner screen, play the reference tone or switch to another app. If you decline, everything else in the app keeps working; the tuner shows a button to the app's settings in case you change your mind.
• Internet: used only to load ads and, when you ask for it, to open a web page such as this policy.
• Advertising ID: the ads provider (see "Ads" below) uses it to show and measure ads.
• Vibration: the metronome can give a short buzz on each beat, using your phone's built-in haptic feedback. This needs no permission, is off by default and can be switched on in Settings.
• Keeping the screen on: while the metronome runs, the app asks the screen to stay on (a normal window setting that needs no permission). It ends when the metronome stops or the app is left. The app has no background service: the metronome pauses when you switch apps or the screen turns off.
• The app does not ask for permission to use your camera, photos, files, contacts or location.

What stays on your device

The app saves these items in its own private storage on your device only:

• the metronome's last setup (tempo, time signature, subdivision, click sound, volume, tempo trainer);
• the presets you save (a name, tempo, time signature and subdivision);
• the practice log (the date and length of each metronome session of a minute or more);
• your settings (sharp or flat names, the reference pitch, the tuner mode and your custom strings, keep the screen on, vibration, light or dark theme);
• a counter that decides when the app may ask you to rate it.

We never receive this information. You can delete presets from the presets list and clear the practice log in Settings. Uninstalling the app or clearing its storage deletes everything. The click track the metronome plays is written to the app's own cache folder while it runs and is deleted when you leave the metronome.

Android backup: if you have turned on your phone's backup to your Google account, Android may include this app's data on your phone in that backup, encrypted and under your own account. We have no access to it. You can manage this in your phone's settings.

Ads

The app is free and shows ads provided by Google AdMob: a banner on the home screen and an occasional full-screen ad when you open the next tool after using one. Ads are never shown on the metronome or tuner screens, and the app has no reward videos. To show and measure ads, Google and its advertising partners may use your device's advertising ID, IP address, device and app information (such as device model, operating system version and app version) and information about how you interact with ads. Ads may be personalised, depending on your choices.

• Where the law requires it (for example in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and some other regions) the app shows Google's consent form before ads are requested. You can review or change your choice at any time under Settings > Ad privacy options when that option is shown.
• You can reset or delete your advertising ID, or opt out of ad personalisation, in your Android settings (Settings > Google > Ads).

Other services

If you tap "Rate this app", the app opens Google Play or shows Google Play's in-app review sheet; Google handles that interaction under its own privacy policy. If you tap "Contact support" or "Privacy policy", the app opens your e-mail app or your browser.

Children

The app is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from children.

Your rights

Because we do not collect or store personal information about you, there is nothing for us to access, correct or delete. If you are in a region with data-protection rights and believe we hold information about you, write to support@glowvibe.in. For data held by Google (such as ad-related data), use Google's own tools and controls.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date above and, if the change is significant, tell you in the app or on the store page.
