Sweat Rounds: Privacy Policy

Sweat Rounds ("the app") is an interval timer published by GlowVibe ("we", "us"). This policy explains what information the app uses and why. Questions: support@glowvibe.in.

What we collect

We do not run a server for this app and we do not collect your personal information. There is no account or sign-up. The timer runs on your device, and the workouts you make and run are not sent to us or to anyone else by the app. The app does not measure your body: it records no heart rate, steps, calories or other health data.

Permissions and phone features

• Internet: used only to load ads and, when you ask for it, to open a web page such as this policy.
• Advertising ID: the ads provider (see "Ads" below) uses it to show and measure ads.
• Keeping the screen on: while a workout runs, the app asks Android not to turn the screen off. This needs no permission and ends when the workout is paused, stopped or finished.
• Sounds: the cue sounds are files inside the app. They play through your phone's speaker or headphones and briefly lower other audio, such as music, while they play.
• Voice cues (off unless you switch them on): the app passes short fixed phrases such as "Work", "Rest", "Round 3 of 8" and the exercise names you typed to your phone's own text-to-speech engine, which speaks them. The app does not record or listen to anything. The text-to-speech engine is part of your phone (often provided by Google or your phone's maker) and works under its own terms.
• Vibration: the app can give a short buzz when a part of the workout changes, using your phone's built-in haptic feedback. This needs no permission and you can switch it off in Settings.
• The app does not ask for permission to use your camera, microphone, photos, files, contacts, location or phone calls. If the app is moved to the background (for example by a phone call that takes over the screen), the timer simply pauses; the app does not read anything about the call.

What stays on your device

The app saves these items in its own private storage on your device only:

• the workouts you create (their names, times, rounds, sets and exercise names);
• your workout history: which workout you ran, when, for how long, how many rounds you did and whether you finished it;
• your settings (sounds, voice cues, vibration, countdown beeps, light or dark theme);
• a counter that decides when the app may ask you to rate it.

We never receive this information. You can delete a workout from its menu and clear the history on the History screen. Uninstalling the app or clearing its storage deletes everything.

Android backup: if you have turned on your phone's backup to your Google account, Android may include this app's data on your phone in that backup, encrypted and under your own account. We have no access to it. You can manage this in your phone's settings.

Ads

The app is free and shows ads provided by Google AdMob: a banner on the workout list, the history and the summary screen, and an occasional full-screen ad when you leave the summary of a finished workout. Ads are never shown on the timer or while you edit a workout. To show and measure ads, Google and its advertising partners may use your device's advertising ID, IP address, device and app information (such as device model, operating system version and app version) and information about how you interact with ads. Ads may be personalised, depending on your choices.

• Where the law requires it (for example in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and some other regions) the app shows Google's consent form before ads are requested. You can review or change your choice at any time under Settings > Ad privacy options when that option is shown.
• You can reset or delete your advertising ID, or opt out of ad personalisation, in your Android settings (Settings > Google > Ads).

Other services

If you tap "Rate this app", the app opens Google Play or shows Google Play's in-app review sheet; Google handles that interaction under its own privacy policy. If you tap "Contact support" or "Privacy policy", the app opens your e-mail app or your browser.

Health

Sweat Rounds is a timer. It does not give medical or health advice. Check with a qualified professional before starting a new exercise routine if you are unsure whether it is right for you.

Children

The app is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from children.

Your rights

Because we do not collect or store personal information about you, there is nothing for us to access, correct or delete. If you are in a region with data-protection rights and believe we hold information about you, write to support@glowvibe.in. For data held by Google (such as ad-related data), use Google's own tools and controls.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date above and, if the change is significant, tell you in the app or on the store page.
