Spend Glow: Privacy Policy

Spend Glow ("the app") is published by GlowVibe ("we", "us"). This policy explains what information the app uses and why. Questions: support@glowvibe.in.

What we collect

We do not run a server for this app and we do not collect your personal or financial information. There is no account or sign-up, the app does not connect to your bank and it does not read your text messages. The amounts, categories, notes and budgets you enter are kept on your device and are never sent to us.

Permissions

• Internet: used only to load ads and, when you ask for it, to open a web page such as this policy.
• Advertising ID: the ads provider (see "Ads" below) uses it to show and measure ads.
• The app does not ask for permission to read SMS, contacts, your camera, microphone, photos, files or location, and it does not send notifications.

What stays on your device

The app saves these items in its own private storage on your device only:

• your entries: amount, expense or income, category, date, and the optional note and payment method you chose;
• your recurring entries (amount, category, how often they repeat, the next date and the optional note);
• your categories (names, icons, colours, order and which ones are hidden) and payment method names;
• your budgets and settings (currency, number format, the day your budget month starts, light or dark theme), the category you used last, whether you have seen the last month's review, and a counter that decides when the app may ask you to rate it.

We never receive this information. When the app is first opened it uses your phone's region setting, on the device, to choose a starting currency and number format; this is not sent anywhere. You can delete single entries in the app, delete all entries in Settings, and uninstalling the app or clearing its storage deletes everything.

Android may include the app's storage in your own device backup (for example your Google account backup) if you have backup switched on in your phone's settings. That backup is handled by Android and Google under your account; we have no access to it.

CSV export

When you tap Share CSV, the app writes the entries of the dates you chose to a temporary file on your device and opens Android's share sheet. The file goes only to the app or person you pick there. We never receive it.

Ads

The app is free and shows ads provided by Google AdMob: a banner on the home, entries, reports and budgets screens, and an occasional full-screen ad when you tap "Done" on a month review or come back from a finished export. Ads are never shown while you add or edit an entry. To show and measure ads, Google and its advertising partners may use your device's advertising ID, IP address, device and app information (such as device model, operating system version and app version) and information about how you interact with ads. Ads may be personalised, depending on your choices. Your entries, amounts and categories are never shared with the ads provider.

• Where the law requires it (for example in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and some other regions) the app shows Google's consent form before ads are requested. You can review or change your choice at any time under Settings > Ad privacy options when that option is shown.
• You can reset or delete your advertising ID, or opt out of ad personalisation, in your Android settings (Settings > Google > Ads).

Other services

If you tap "Rate this app", the app opens Google Play or shows Google Play's in-app review sheet; Google handles that interaction under its own privacy policy. If you tap "Contact support" or "Privacy policy", the app opens your e-mail app or your browser.

No financial advice

Spend Glow is a record-keeping tool. It does not provide financial, tax or investment advice or any financial service.

Children

The app is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from children.

Your rights

Because we do not collect or store personal information about you, there is nothing for us to access, correct or delete. If you are in a region with data-protection rights and believe we hold information about you, write to support@glowvibe.in. For data held by Google (such as ad-related data), use Google's own tools and controls.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date above and, if the change is significant, tell you in the app or on the store page.
