Recall Cards: Privacy Policy

Recall Cards ("the app") is published by GlowVibe ("we", "us"). This policy explains what information the app uses and why. Questions: support@glowvibe.in.

What we collect

We do not run a server for this app and we do not collect your personal information. There is no account or sign-up. The flashcards you write or import, and your study history, are kept on your device and are never sent to us.

Permissions

• Internet: used only to load ads and, when you ask for it, to open a web page such as this policy.
• Advertising ID: the ads provider (see "Ads" below) uses it to show and measure ads.
• Vibration: the app can give a short buzz when you answer a card, using your phone's built-in haptic feedback. This needs no permission and you can switch it off in Settings.
• The app does not ask for permission to use your storage, photos, camera, microphone, contacts or location.

Files you import and export

• Import: when you choose "Import a CSV file", your phone's own file picker opens. The app can read only the one file you pick. It reads the file on your device, turns its rows into cards and keeps nothing else from it. The file is not uploaded anywhere.
• Pasted text: text you paste into the import screen is turned into cards on your device.
• Export: when you export a deck, the app creates a CSV file and hands it to your phone's share sheet. The file goes only to the app or person you choose there, and that app's own privacy policy applies.

What stays on your device

The app saves these items in its own private storage on your device only:

• your decks and cards (front, back and hint) and each deck's settings;
• the learning progress of each card (when it is due next and how well you knew it) and how many cards you answered on each day, used for the streak, the 30-day grid and the 7-day forecast;
• your settings (new cards per day, answer timer, vibration, light or dark theme);
• a counter that decides when the app may ask you to rate it.

We never receive this information. You can delete decks and cards in the app and reset all learning progress in Settings. Uninstalling the app or clearing its storage deletes everything, so export any deck you want to keep first. Android's own device backup may include the app's data if you have backup switched on; that backup is handled by Google under your Google account settings.

Ads

The app is free and shows ads provided by Google AdMob: a banner on the deck list, on a deck's page and on the summary after a study session, and an occasional full-screen ad after you tap "Done" on that summary. Ads are never shown while you study a card or edit one. To show and measure ads, Google and its advertising partners may use your device's advertising ID, IP address, device and app information (such as device model, operating system version and app version) and information about how you interact with ads. Ads may be personalised, depending on your choices. The content of your cards is never given to the ads provider.

• Where the law requires it (for example in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and some other regions) the app shows Google's consent form before ads are requested. You can review or change your choice at any time under Settings > Ad privacy options when that option is shown.
• You can reset or delete your advertising ID, or opt out of ad personalisation, in your Android settings (Settings > Google > Ads).

Other services

If you tap "Rate this app", the app opens Google Play or shows Google Play's in-app review sheet; Google handles that interaction under its own privacy policy. If you tap "Contact support" or "Privacy policy", the app opens your e-mail app or your browser.

Children

The app is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from children.

Your rights

Because we do not collect or store personal information about you, there is nothing for us to access, correct or delete. If you are in a region with data-protection rights and believe we hold information about you, write to support@glowvibe.in. For data held by Google (such as ad-related data), use Google's own tools and controls.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date above and, if the change is significant, tell you in the app or on the store page.
