Quiet Pages: Privacy Policy

Last updated: 15 October 2026

Quiet Pages ("the app") is a private journal published by GlowVibe ("we", "us"). This policy explains what information the app uses and why. Questions: support@glowvibe.in.

What we collect

We do not run a server for this app, and your journal never leaves your device unless you export it yourself. There is no account or sign-up. We cannot read your entries and we do not receive them.

Permissions

What stays on your device

The app saves these items in its own private storage on your device, which other apps cannot read:

We never receive this information. You can delete single entries, or all of them under Settings > Delete all entries. Uninstalling the app or clearing its storage deletes everything.

The PIN lock stops other people from opening the journal on your phone. It does not encrypt your entries. There is no way for us or anyone else to recover a forgotten PIN: the only way back in is to clear the app's data, which deletes your entries. While the lock is on, the app can also hide its contents from the recent-apps screen and block screenshots (you can switch this off).

Android backup: if you have turned on your phone's backup to your Google account, Android may include the app's data (your entries and settings) in that backup, encrypted and under your own account. We have no access to it. You can manage this in your phone's settings.

Exports

If you choose Export entries, the app creates a plain text or Markdown file with the entries you picked and opens your phone's share sheet. The file goes only to the app or person you choose there; from then on it is handled by that app or person, and it is not protected by your PIN. The temporary copy the app made for sharing is deleted the next time you open the app.

Ads

The app is free and shows ads provided by Google AdMob: a banner at the bottom of the timeline and the calendar, and an occasional full-screen ad after you finish a new entry with "Done" or come back from sharing an export. Ads are never shown on the lock screen, in the editor while you write, or in search. To show and measure ads, Google and its advertising partners may use your device's advertising ID, IP address, device and app information (such as device model, operating system version and app version) and information about how you interact with ads. Ads may be personalised, depending on your choices. The ads SDK never receives the contents of your journal.

Other services

If you tap "Rate this app", the app opens Google Play or shows Google Play's in-app review sheet; Google handles that interaction under its own privacy policy. If you tap "Contact support" or "Privacy policy", the app opens your e-mail app or your browser.

Children

The app is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from children.

Your rights

Because we do not collect or store personal information about you, there is nothing for us to access, correct or delete: your entries exist only on your device (and in your own backups or exports). If you are in a region with data-protection rights and believe we hold information about you, write to support@glowvibe.in. For data held by Google (such as ad-related data), use Google's own tools and controls.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date above and, if the change is significant, tell you in the app or on the store page.
