Fancy Text: Privacy Policy

Fancy Text ("the app") is published by GlowVibe ("we", "us"). This policy explains what information the app uses and why. Questions: support@glowvibe.in.

What we collect

We do not run a server for this app and we do not collect your personal information. There is no account or sign-up. The text you type is turned into styled text on your device and is never sent to us.

Your text stays on your device

• The app remembers the last text you typed, a list of your last 50 copies and the favourites you saved, in its own private storage on your device, so they are still there next time.
• Copy: when you tap Copy, the styled text is put on your device's clipboard, where you can paste it into any app. The app never reads your clipboard.
• Share: when you choose Share, the text is handed to Android's share sheet. The app you pick handles it under its own privacy policy; Fancy Text does not know or record where you sent it.
• Text-selection menu: when you select text in another app and choose "Fancy Text" in its selection menu, that app hands the selected text to Fancy Text. Fancy Text shows it in different styles and hands the style you tap straight back to that app (or copies it, if that app does not accept text back). The selected text is not stored, except in your list of recent copies when it was copied.
• You can clear the list of recent copies and remove favourites in the app at any time. Uninstalling the app or clearing its storage deletes everything.

Permissions

• Internet: used only to load ads and, when you ask for it, to open a web page such as this policy.
• Advertising ID: the ads provider (see "Ads" below) uses it to show and measure ads.
• The app does not ask for permission to use your camera, microphone, photos, files, contacts or location.

What else stays on your device

• your choices in the app (the style for decorations and nicknames, the symbols before and after a nickname, light or dark theme);
• which extra packs you unlocked by watching a video;
• whether you dismissed the note about screen readers;
• a counter that decides when the app may ask you to rate it.

We never receive this information.

Android backup: if you have turned on your phone's backup to your Google account, Android may include this app's data on your phone in that backup, encrypted and under your own account. We have no access to it. You can manage this in your phone's settings.

Ads

The app is free and shows ads provided by Google AdMob: a banner at the bottom of the Styles, Decorations, Symbols and Saved screens (hidden while the keyboard is open), an occasional full-screen ad when you switch to another tool after copying something, and optional videos that you can choose to watch to unlock an extra pack for good. There are no ads in the Nickname maker or in the text-selection menu picker. To show and measure ads, Google and its advertising partners may use your device's advertising ID, IP address, device and app information (such as device model, operating system version and app version) and information about how you interact with ads. Ads may be personalised, depending on your choices. The text you type, copy or select is never given to the ads provider.

• Where the law requires it (for example in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and some other regions) the app shows Google's consent form before ads are requested. You can review or change your choice at any time under Settings > Ad privacy options when that option is shown.
• You can reset or delete your advertising ID, or opt out of ad personalisation, in your Android settings (Settings > Google > Ads).

Other services

If you tap "Rate this app", the app opens Google Play or shows Google Play's in-app review sheet; Google handles that interaction under its own privacy policy. If you tap "Contact support" or "Privacy policy", the app opens your e-mail app or your browser.

Children

The app is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from children.

Your rights

Because we do not collect or store personal information about you, there is nothing for us to access, correct or delete: your texts are under your control on your device. If you are in a region with data-protection rights and believe we hold information about you, write to support@glowvibe.in. For data held by Google (such as ad-related data), use Google's own tools and controls.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date above and, if the change is significant, tell you in the app or on the store page.
