CVSmith: Privacy Policy

Last updated: 24 October 2026

CVSmith ("the app") is published by GlowVibe ("we", "us"). This policy explains what information the app uses and why. Questions: support@glowvibe.in.

What we collect

We do not run a server for this app and we do not collect your personal information. There is no account or sign-up. Everything you type into a résumé is stored on your device and is never sent to us.

Your résumé stays on your device

A résumé naturally contains personal information: your name, job title, e-mail address, phone number, city, website or profile link, work history, education, skills, languages and certificates. The app keeps all of it in its own private storage on your device only. It leaves your device in exactly one way: in the PDF file that you yourself choose to share or print.

Permissions

What else stays on your device

We never receive this information.

Android backup: if you have turned on your phone's backup to your Google account, Android may include this app's data on your phone in that backup, encrypted and under your own account. We have no access to it. You can manage this in your phone's settings.

Ads

The app is free and shows ads provided by Google AdMob: a banner on the list of résumés and under the PDF preview, an occasional full-screen ad after you have shared or printed a PDF, and optional videos that you can choose to watch to unlock two extra templates for 24 hours. No ad is shown while you are typing. To show and measure ads, Google and its advertising partners may use your device's advertising ID, IP address, device and app information (such as device model, operating system version and app version) and information about how you interact with ads. Ads may be personalised, depending on your choices. The contents of your résumé are never given to the ads provider.

Other services

If you tap "Rate this app", the app opens Google Play or shows Google Play's in-app review sheet; Google handles that interaction under its own privacy policy. If you tap "Contact support" or "Privacy policy", the app opens your e-mail app or your browser.

Children

The app is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from children.

Your rights

Because we do not collect or store personal information about you, there is nothing for us to access, correct or delete: your résumés are under your control on your device. If you are in a region with data-protection rights and believe we hold information about you, write to support@glowvibe.in. For data held by Google (such as ad-related data), use Google's own tools and controls.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date above and, if the change is significant, tell you in the app or on the store page.
